A Life of Stories

Hi, I am Jeannette Paulson Hereniko. I have spent much of my life listening to stories, making films, bringing people together, and following stories across cultures.

Along the way, I learned that wisdom does not always arrive neatly. It can come through mistakes, surprises, risks, and the moments when we finally listen to that little instinct inside us.

I call that Wild Wisdom.

And now I want to share it with you!

Wild Wisdom

The Wild Wisdom Project is my way of giving these stories a life beyond memory. Through a book, an audiobook, and a YouTube series, I am sharing personal stories about love, friendship, family, culture, aging, creativity, and the choices that shape a life.

I don't think wisdom is always neat or solemn. Sometimes it comes through mistakes. Sometimes through risk, rejection, laughter, travel, or simply paying attention.

That is the kind of wisdom I want to share.

Inaugural Wild Wisdom Episode on YouTube

I have spent my life listening to people and telling stories. Now I would like to share some of mine with you.

The Performance

At the heart of the project are 25 vignettes, each designed as a performance piece. Some are intimate, some are humorous, some are provocative, and some invite reflections.

Together they create a larger portrait of a woman moving across generations and cultures, revealing how much can happen when we remain curious about people who are different from ourselves.

Wild Wisdom is not meant to be a static collection of pages. This is a living project. I want it to grow:

The Wild Wisdom Project is deliberately designed as a multi-format storytelling experience:

Who Is This Project For?

Wild Wisdom is for anyone who is curious about how a life becomes a story, and how one story can change the way we see another person.

What can one generation teach another? What happens when cultures meet? What do we learn when we question expectations, take a risk, or choose a different path?

These are the questions I keep coming back to.

An Invitation To Listen

The Wild Wisdom Project is an invitation to listen. To step into another person’s life for a little while, and perhaps come away seeing something differently.

I believe stories help us understand where we have been. Experience gives those stories meaning. And when we truly listen to one another, understanding becomes possible.

Stories give us context

Experiences give us Wisdom

Listening gives us possibility of understanding one another
